Actions - Modify Output

- OVERVIEW
- The Modify Output Action is used to turn on an output on a device based on 1 or More Variables and the IF Statement(s).
- Generally, the Output would be for a Stack Light.
- The Ouput could also be used for a Machine Lockout.
- An example of this would be, turn on the Red light if the scrap level is above 10%.
- This guide will explain how to setup the Action of the Output and the specific device Output.
- PRE-REQUISITES
- An I/O or Stack Light must be added to the system prior to setting up this type of Action.
- If there are no I/O's or Stack Lights setup, click on the link below for more information on setting one up.
- NAVIGATION
- On the Triggers page, select the Add Action button under the IF statement.
- Select the down arrow in the Action field.
- Select Modify Output from the list.

- PROPERTIES
- There will be 4 fields available for the action.
- Select the down arrow in the Output Action field.

- There will be 3 options available in the drop down menu, On, Off and Flash.

- ON - the user will select this option when the output is to be turned ON.
- OFF - the user will select this option when the output is to be turned OFF.
- FLASH - the user will select this option when the output is to be Flashed/Blinked.

- The Delay field is used to enter an amount of seconds to expire before the Output Action is run.
- Click in the field to enter an amount or use the up and down arrows on the right side of the field to increase and decrease the number.

- The Module field is where the user will select the IO Module to perform the Output Action on.
- Click on the down arrow in the field.

- Select the Module that is to have the Output Action.
