OVERVIEW

VersaCall considers an Andon Device a Call Station, BSC or PSM with 1 to 6 Alert buttons.
The Alerts can be Dual-State or Tri-State.
Each Alert will have a Communication where a message is sent to Contacts in an Escalation or the message is presented on a Messaging Dashboard.
This page provides a logical order in which to create an Andon Device as well as Links to each part of the Setup/Design.
A Call Station will be used in all Guides/Instructions.

STEP 1
Communications for an Andon Device (Alert) require an Escalation.
Escalations are made up of 1 or more Contacts.
Contacts require a Schedule so that Messages can be sent when the Contact is available.
Contacts require 1 or more Communications. This includes Email, Text Message or Pager Messages.

STEP 4
Once the Device Configuration is complete, a Location(s) must be setup.
Locations will be the venue for an Operator to access the Interface.

STEP 5
The Operator will need to access the Interface using a VersaCall Provided Device or a Device Provided by IT.
VersaCall Devices use a Wireless Mesh Signal to communicate with the VersaVision Software.
IT Devices would use the Company Network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) to communicate with the VersaVision Software.

STEP 6
With a Location(s) created, Dashboards can be created.
Andon Devices can use 2 different types of Dashboards - Messaging & Andon.

STEP 7
Once the Operator Interface has been used to initiate Alerts, Reports can be generated.
Users can generate a Data Dump to Excel or use the Report Builder to create a Custom Report.
The Response/Resolve Report is a Basic Downtime Report that can be created for any Device with Alerts.
