Data Field - Manual Entry

- OVERVIEW
- A Data Field is an entry field that can be a sub-category of either an Alert or a Process.
- The information on the page will be on the Manual Entry Input Method and the associated Value Types.
- DETAILS
- There will be 3 options available.
- Select the best option for the Data Field being created.

- Text - this option allows the user to enter Letters, Numbers and Symbols.
- Numeric (Integer) - this option allows the user to only enter whole numbers.
- Numeric (Decimal) - this option allows the user to enter numbers with a decimal place.
- There are 2 validation methods available that will verify the entry made is in the correct format.
- Toggle the switch On or Off to Enable or Disable the verification method.

- Use Local Validation - this option allows the user to setup a RegEx code verification. This verification will be done on the operator interface.
- Use Server Validation - this option allows the user to setup a verification on the server. This is a custom option and may required a VersaCall Technician to assist in the setup.
- When Use Local Validation is ON, there will be 2 additional fields visible.

- Regular Expression (RegEx) - this is where the user would enter RegEx code for the verification should be entered. Contact VersaCall Support for assistance if needed.
- Message - this is where the user would enter the error message to show on the operator interface when the verification fails.
- When Use Server Validation is ON, there will be 2 additional fields visible.

- Command (Single Value Lookup) - this is where the user would select the verification command. Contact VersaCall Support for assistance if needed.
- Server Validation Message - this is where the user would enter the error message to show on the operator interface when the verification fails.
