- WHAT IS OEE?
- OEE is an abbreviation for Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
- OEE is a standard that allows a manufacturer to measure productivity. Using OEE allows the user to identify what percentage of their manufacturing time was truly productive.
- A score of 100% means the location is only making good parts, at or above the standard cycle time, with little or no downtime.
- The general OEE calculation is as follows:
- OEE = Availability X Performance X Quality
-
- Availability = Run Time / Planned Production Time
- Performance = (Ideal Cycle Time X Total Count) / Run Time
- Quality = Good Count / Total Count
