WHAT IS OEE?

OEE is an abbreviation for Overall Equipment Effectiveness.
OEE is a standard that allows a manufacturer to measure productivity. Using OEE allows the user to identify what percentage of their manufacturing time was truly productive.
A score of 100% means the location is only making good parts, at or above the standard cycle time, with little or no downtime.
The general OEE calculation is as follows:
OEE = Availability X Performance X Quality
Availability = Run Time / Planned Production Time
Performance = (Ideal Cycle Time X Total Count) / Run Time
Quality = Good Count / Total Count
