From VersaVision Support
- OVERVIEW
- VersaCall considers a Production Monitoring Device a PSM with Inputs related to a Production Process.
- Minimal Inputs would provide Up Time, Down Time, Good Pieces, and Bad Pieces.
- The input for the data can be gathered in 1 of 3 different methods.
- Manual Capture - all input is obtained from the Operator.
- Machine Capture - all input is obtained from the Machine.
- Hybrid Capture - all input is obtained from Combination of Operator & Machine.
- This page provides a logical order in which to create an Production Monitoring Device as well as Links to each part of the Setup/Design.
- STEP 1
- Communications for an Alerts require an Escalation.
- Escalations are made up of 1 or more Contacts.
- Contacts require a Schedule so that Messages can be sent when the Contact is available.

- VersaCall Devices use a Wireless Mesh Signal to communicate with the VersaVision Software.
- IT Devices would use the Company Network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) to communicate with the VersaVision Software.
- STEP 6
- With a Location(s) created, Dashboards can be created.
- Production Monitoring Devices can use All Dashboard types depending on the need and Configuration.
- If you are following the Production Monitoring Guide(s), select the Production Monitoring Dashboard link.
- STEP 7
- Once the Operator Interface has been used to collect data/information, Reports can be generated.
- Users can generate a Data Dump to Excel or use the Report Builder to create a Custom Report.
- Production Monitoring Devices can use All Report types depending on the need and the Configuration.
- If you are following the Production Monitoring Guide(s), select the Productivity or Performance Report(s) link.
