OVERVIEW


The information provided below is intended for the IT Department. This will provide basic information they may need to setup a 2-Way Radio Module when it has been added to the VersaVision system.


GENERAL


2-Way Radio Modules contain a Motorola Base unit that is programmed to the Facilities FCC frequencies. The Module operates over a network connection.
To facilitate audio messages the 2-way radio uses Text-to-Speech via a small SBC inside the module case.

REQUIREMENTS
110v Power Outlet within 6’ of placement/location.
Ethernet Port within 6’ of placement/location.
Pre-Installed Static IP Address (VersaCall) or DHCP Reserved IP Address based on the MAC Address of the Coordinator (Customer IT).
Channel Information - must be programmed to the current channel configuration in the facility.
Facility Radio Contractor or Radio Supervisor should be able to provide Channel Information or Radio Configuration File.

Supports up to 15 analog or digital channels (Mototrbo).
UHF (403 - 470 MHz, 450 - 512 MHz) or VHF (136 - 174 MHz).
Runs a web-server app on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
