OVERVIEW
The information provided below is intended for the IT Department. This will provide basic information they may need to setup a 2-Way Radio Module when it has been added to the VersaVision system.
GENERAL
2-Way Radio Modules contain a Motorola Base unit that is programmed to the Facilities FCC frequencies. The Module operates over a network connection.
To facilitate audio messages the 2-way radio uses Text-to-Speech via a small SBC inside the module case.
REQUIREMENTS
- 110v Power Outlet within 6’ of placement/location.
- Ethernet Port within 6’ of placement/location.
- Pre-Installed Static IP Address (VersaCall) or DHCP Reserved IP Address based on the MAC Address of the Coordinator (Customer IT).
- Channel Information - must be programmed to the current channel configuration in the facility.
- Facility Radio Contractor or Radio Supervisor should be able to provide Channel Information or Radio Configuration File.
