Assets - Lists

Lists are created to allow the user to associate them with a Module Configuration Data Field. When creating a Data Field the user can select the List parameter. One of the options for that parameter is to use a Global List. The List created in this section of the software will be available when selecting to use a Global List.
The Advantages to a Global List is the user can associate it with multiple Module Configurations and only have to edit 1 List as opposed to editing multiple (Custom) Lists individually.
Access Lists by selecting the Assets icon from the Applications Quick Menu or by selecting the Menu icon from the Home Page. Once Assets is selected, click on the Lists option.

To Add a New List select the Add New button at the top of the page next to the Page Heading.
A New List properties section will show on the right side of the Lists table. Click on the Name field so that it is enabled.
Enter a Name for the list in the Name field.
Select the Add Item button below the Name field to create an item for the list.
Click on the Name field so that it is enabled.
Enter a Name for the Item.
Select the Add Item button to add more items to the list.
Use the Value Optional field to enter a different Name/Value for the Item to be stored in the Database. Operators will see the Item Name on their device. The Value will be stored in the database which will show on Reports and Displays.
Select the Save button to save the List and Items.
Select the X to close the Item properties window.

To Edit an existing list - select the List from the table.
The list selected will be highlighted.
The Edit List properties will show on the right side of the Lists Table. Select any existing field and edit the information.
Select the Add Item button to include additional items in the list.
Select the Delete icon on the right side of any item to remove it from the list.
Select the Save button once all changes have been made.
Select the X to close the Item properties window.

Click on the 3-Dot menu icon on any List. Found on the right side of the List Name in the table.
A pop-up menu will appear - select the Delete option.
A warning message will appear on the screen. Select Delete to remove the List or select Cancel to keep the list.
