A Count is a Monitoring Point that allows the operator to enter a Count manually. The BSC can except up to 2 Counts on a single configuration.
Count buttons will appear at the bottom of the Alerts on the operator interface.
This page will provide information on the options available for a Count on a BSC.
To add/edit a Count, the user will need to select Add Count option or select the Count under the Monitoring Points section.

With the Count added/selected, click in the Count Name field on the Count Properties.
Enter a Name for the Count. This name will show on the button on the operator interface. Click on the down arrow in the Mode field.
There will be 2 options available. Select the best option for the Count being created.
- Day - this option will reset the Count at the end of the Day (midnight).
- The Count button will show on the interface at all times.
- Shift - this option will reset the Count at the end of every Shift.
- The Count button will only show when the Shift is active. When a Shift ends and there are no other shifts beginning, the Count button will NOT show on the inteface.
- Day - this option will reset the Count at the end of the Day (midnight).
Click on the down arrow in the Color field.
There will be 10 colors available for selection. The color selected will be the "+" icon color on the interface. Select the best option for the Count being created.
The example below shows a BSC with 2 Counts - Good Pcs. & Bad Pcs.
