Visuals - Cell Type - Text

OVERVIEW

A Text Type cell will allow the user to enter Text to be displayed or to select a Variable Result to be displayed.

This page will explain the setup of both Text and Variable.

NAVIGATION

The Cell Type needs to be set to Text.

TEXT CELL SETUP

With the Type field set to Text, click in the Text cell.

Enter in the Text that needs to be displayed in the cell.

•

The image below shows how the Text entered in the step above would appear on the layout.

VARIABLE CELL SETUP

With the Type field set to Text, click on the down arrow in the Text cell.

•

A list of all the Variables setup in the Widget/Dashboard will show in the list. Select the appropriate Variable for the cell being created.

The image below shows how the Variable selected in the step above would appear on the layout.

NOTE - when viewing the Dashboard, the Result will be displayed not the Variable Name.
