Visuals - Widget Home

OVERVIEW

The Widgets Home page allows the user to see a list of all the Widgets in the system and to edit or add more Widgets to the system.

This page will provide information on how to access Adding and Editing functions as well as Duplicating and Deleting Widgets.

NAVIGATION

Widgets can be accessed via the Home page menu or the Widgets icon.

Once Visuals has been selected from the menu - select Widgets.

ADD A WIDGET

---

On the Widget home page, click on the Add New button at the top right corner of the screen.

---

There will be 3 options available from the menu.

Freehand - this type of Widget provides the user a free form interface where they can add cells to the space and move them any where in the area.

Messaging - this type of Widget provides the user a set interface for displaying the Text Communications that are setup on Monitoring Points.

Table - this type of Widget provides the user a Table based interface where the rows and columns are added to create cells in a table that represent live information.

EDIT A WIDGET

On the Widget home page, click on the 3 Dot ellipsis on the right side of the screen for the Widget that needs to be edited.

Look at the Widget Type that is displayed in the Type Column.

Select Edit from the menu.

---

Based on the Widget Type, select the appropriate link for information on Editing the Widget.

DUPLICATE A WIDGET

On the Widget home page, click on the 3 Dot ellipsis on the right side of the screen for the Widget that needs to be Duplicated.

Look at the Widget Type that is displayed in the Type Column.

Select Duplicate from the menu.

The New Widget window will load with the Properties menu showing.

Click in the Name field to enter a name for the duplicated Widget.

Based on the Widget Type, select the appropriate link for information on Editing the Widget.

DELETE A WIDGET

On the Widget home page, click on the 3 Dot ellipsis on the right side of the screen for the Widget that needs to be Deleted.

Select Delete from the menu.

---

Select Yes on the warning message to remove the Widget. Select Cancel to keep the Widget.
