DETAILS

When the Properties settings loads on the screen, the user will see 3 different fields.
Select the Name field.

Enter a name for the Widget or Dashboard that is being created.
Select the Description field.
Visual-Prop-4.png

Enter a description describing the Widget or Dashboard (this is an optional field).
Select the down arrow in the Aspect Ratio field.
Visual-Prop-5.png

The Aspect Ratio will allow the user to lock in an aspect ratio for the Widget or Dashboard.
This is helpful when the user is creating a Widget or Dashboard that has an image as a background.
Setting an aspect ratio will ensure that the image and cells do not get skewed abnormally on different screens.
By default the Aspect Ratio will be set to Stretch meaning the Widget or Dashboard will fill the screen on the media it is being viewed on.
These options will be available on the drop down menu. Select the best option for the Widget/Dashboard being created.

16 : 9 - this is a traditional "letterbox" ratio where there is a black space above and below the screen. How someone would view a movie.
4 : 3 - this is an older style "TV" ratio where there is a black space on the right and left of the screen.
1 : 1 - this option means the Dashboard or Widget has the same height and width. Example would be 1080 X 1080.
Custom - this option allows the user to define a unique/custom ratio.

When selecting the 16:9, 4:3 or 1:1 ratio, the user will have the following options.
