The Freehand Dashboard Layout is a free form interface where the user can add cells to the space and move them any where in the area.
This page will explain the purpose and functionality of each area/tool on the Layout.
There are 7 functions that can be accessed on the Layout.
Select this button to setup the Name, Description and Aspect Ratio of the Dashboard

Select this button to setup the Variables needed for the Dashboard.

Click on a down arrow in the Navigation field. A list of all the cells on the layout will list with their properties. Each cell on the list will have the following properties:
- Number (#) - this indicates the order in which the cell was added to the layout. The lower the number the further back on the layout the cell is.
- X - this provides the X axis (Horizontal) position of the cell on the layout.
- Y - this provides the Y axis (Vertical) position of the cell on the layout.
- Z - this provides the order of layer position of the cell on the layout. The lower the number the further back on the layout the cell is.
- Width - this provides the width measurement of the cell.
- Height - this provides the height measurement of the cell.
When the cell needed is found in the list, select it and the cell will highlight on the layout.
Click on Add Cell icon to place a new blank cell on the layout. The cell will highlight on the layout and be labeled as New Cell (#).
Select a cell in the layout to highlight it. Once the cell is highlighted the user can access the Cell Properties on the right side of the layout.

Click on a cell in the layout to highlight it. Use the arrows to move the cell left or right on the layout.
- Left Facing Arrow - moves the cell to the left side of the layout.
- Keyboard Shortcut - Shift + Left Arrow Key.
- Right Facing Arrow - moves the cell to the right side of the layout.
- Keyboard Shortcut - Shift + Right Arrow Key.
- Left Facing Arrow - moves the cell to the left side of the layout.
Click on a cell in the layout to highlight it. Use the arrows to move the cell up or down on the layout.
- Up Facing Arrow moves the cell up towards the top of the layout.
- Keyboard Shortcut - Shift + Up Arrow Key.
- Down Facing Arrow moves the cell down towards the bottom of the layout.
- Keyboard Shortcut - Shift + Down Arrow Key.
- Up Facing Arrow moves the cell up towards the top of the layout.
