Reporting - Date Range Parameter

Depending on how the Report was built, it may require the user to setup a Date Range Parameter.
This parameter defines what specific Days, Weeks, Months or Years the report data should show.
This page will show and explain each option available for this type of Parameter.

The first field shown is the Period field where the user will select Days, Weeks, Months or Years. Click on the down arrow in the Period field to select a time period.
Selecting the "Days" time period will allow the user to enter a From X Days Ago and To X Days Ago. To change the value click in the field and type in a number or use the arrows to increase & decrease the value.
Example of a setting would be having the report run every Monday morning to report for the previous week.
The setup would be "From 7 Days Ago To 2 Days Ago". This would give the user data from Monday to Friday of the previous week.
Selecting the "Weeks" time period will allow the user to enter a From X Weeks Ago and To X Weeks Ago. To change the value click in the field and type in a number or use the arrows to increase & decrease the value.
Example of a setting would be having the report run for the previous 4 weeks.
The setup would be "From 4 Weeks Ago To 1 Weeks Ago". This would give the user data from the previous 4 weeks only.
Selecting the "Months" time period will allow the user to enter a From X Months Ago. To change the value click in the field and type in a number or use the arrows to increase & decrease the value.
Example of a setting would be having the report run for the previous Month.
The setup would be "From 1 Month Ago". This would give the user data from the previous month.
Selecting the "Years" time period will allow the user to enter a From X Years Ago and To X Years Ago. To change the value click in the field and type in a number or use the arrows to increase & decrease the value.
Example of a setting would be having the report run for the previous Year.
The setup would be "From 1 Year Ago To 1 Year Ago". This would give the user data from the previous year only.
