Touch Screen Installation - Network

Touch Screens, supplied by VersaCall, can be used as Network Connected devices. When using this type of connection, the user will use the built in Chrome Web Browser to interact with the Operator Interface.
This page explains how to unpack the Touch Screen and Connect it to the system.

NOTE: If an Articulating Arm Mount was purchased/provided by VersaCall with the Touch Screen, it is suggested that it get Mounted First.

Inside the large shipping box, there will be 1 or more white boxes. These white boxes contain the Touch Screen(s). Open the lid on the white box to see the contents.
The image below shows each component inside the Touch Screen box.
Pull the Touch Screen out of the box. The Power Cord and Mesh Radio are attached to the Touch Screen. Flip the Touch Screen so that the backside is facing up.
The image below shows each component after removing the Touch Screen from the box. If there are any differences (missing components) contact VersaCall Support.
Ethernet Connected Touch Screen
Mount the Touch Screen in the appropriate location. Remove the back cover - plug in an Ethernet Cable into the available port.
Plug in the Power Cord to an available 110v Electrical Outlet.
Wi-Fi Connected Touch Screen
Contact IT to get the Wi-Fi Network Name and Password.

Select the Apps Icon from the Touch Screen Home.
Select the Chrome Browser Icon.
Select the Web Address bar, at the top of the page.
- NOTE: the Touch Screen must be logged into the Wi-Fi network or connected to an Ethernet port to proceed.
Use the Tablet Keyboard to enter the IP Address of the VersaVision Computer/Server. Select the Go button.
The VersaVision home page will load. Select the Email Address field - enter a valid VersaVision email address. Select the Password field - enter a valid Password.
Checkmark the "Keep Me Authenticated" option.
Select Login button.
Select the Menu Icon.
Select Modules.
Select Locations.
Select the Launch/Play button for the appropriate Location.
Bookmark the Page/Tab by selecting the "Favorite" icon in the right side of the Web Address bar.
A Bookmarked message will appear on the screen.
To quickly open the Location (Operator Interface), click on the Bookmark on the Chrome home page.
